The National Action Sports Show (NASS) is back on the 6th-8th July this year, celebrating its tenth anniversary. The sports action and music entertainment is set to be non-stop at the event, which is being held at the Bath and West Show Ground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
The weekend will open with a bang – Dirty Sanchez will be live on stage performing their usual antics, followed by Newport-based chav group Goldie Lookin’ Chain. With this troublesome duo joining forces and descending on NASS, the first night will set the pace for the rest of the weekend.
Saturday sees the start of the sporting action. Running across both days will be the urban attack Pro Comp which features some of the UK’s finest riders in skate, BMX and in-line. The Pro park will be open to all abilities of rider until the competition begins in the afternoon.
On Saturday night there’ll be the World Freestyle Moto Cross jumping, and then new to the NASS event this year is the National Bike Show arena which will be featuring 4X trials, BMX, Mountain Bike Dirt Jumping and North Shore.
To ensure a weekend you’ll never forget, and avoid anyone ruining the vibe, security will be high on the agenda this year. Amongst other things there will be new fortress style fencing as used at Glastonbury: If you haven’t got a ticket you’re not getting in. NASS are also providing different camping zones to suit your needs, including a family camping zone.
