Kinesis UK were at the Core Bike show with the three frames in their Decade range, which celebrates the company’s 10 years in the bike building business.
The Tripster is a high-end frameset capable of taking 26in and 700c tyres. It comes with carbon forks, disc mounts and, as you can see from the pictures, can be specced with drop handlebars or flats – for road training or the daily commute, for example. Neat touches include an integrated mount in the left-hand chainstay for the rear disc brake calliper. Mounts are there for mudguards and panniers too. Frame price is £499.99.
The Virtue is a steel hardtail mountain bike with a Swopout rear dropout system so you can run it with gears or as a singlespeed. This was one sweet looking machine. We want. Frame price is £349.99.
The Convert2, based on the popular Racelight T frame, is a versatile machine capable of fixed, freewheel or fully geared setup. With removable tab mounts to give a clean look, we can see this model being very popular, with riders making this frameset their own. Frame and fork are £375.
