Marin Dusk ’til Dawn 2008

Registration open now for October event

The start of the Dusk 'til Dawn

The Marin Dusk ’til Dawn, one of the UK’s best loved enduro races, has just launched its new website with entries welcome now.

As part of its celebrations, one of the main attractions this year is a big £5,000 prize purse, split equally between the men’s and women’s field, with the winner of each category guaranteed a cool £1,000 for their efforts. That works out at just over a crank busting £83 an hour.

Don’t worry about fitness. You have 10 months of training to get in, should you wish to be in contention for that prize, with the actual event taking place on October 4th/5th. And don’t worry if you don’t fancy doing 12 hours solo in the dark. Get a group of mates together and enter in teams of four or five, there’ll be some great prizes up for grabs in the team sections too.

BikeRadar spoke to one of the main men behind the event, Frank Jaworski, who said, “We wanted to celebrate our five years of organizing Marin Dusk ’til Dawn. Over those years we’ve been delighted with the organic way the event has grown and have strived to achieve an event which is friendly and fun and attracts competitors from all over the UK and even abroad.

“Due to the ongoing success of this event we’ve also decided to raise the cap to one thousand competitors and by doing this we hope to attract the biggest and best field of endurance riders for this special occasion. We hope that you’ll all come down and join in the fun!”
