Meet cyclo-journalists Phil Liggett and Bruce Hildenbrand at the Testarossa Vineyards in Los Gatos, California on February 13 at a fundraiser for the local Junior Track Cycling Development Program at San Jose’s Hellyer Park Velodrome.
Liggett is the popular “voice of cycling” and Cycling Plus contributor. Hildenbrand is a longtime print and broadcast journalist who contributes to BikeRadar. Testarossa owner Rob Jensen is an avid racer and co-sponsor of the Los Gatos Bicycle Racing Club (LGBRC).
According to organizer’s, the first 50 event tickets purchased will get front section VIP priority seating. One hundred percent of the proceeds of this event will go to the Junior Track Cycling Development Program at San Jose’s Hellyer Park Velodrome.
Doors open at Testarossa Vineyards 19th Century winery on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served before Phil and Bruce come on stage at 7 p.m. A silent auction benefiting Junior Track Cycling of rare and priceless cycling memorabilia, many donated by LGBRC sponsor Cupertino Bike Shop, as well as limited edition autographed bottles of rare wines, will also be available to bid on before the show starts.
