A new enduro event has been put together and will take place July 19th 2008. The race, formed as a response to the Twentyfour12 enduro moving south of the country to the Cotswolds, will be held in north Manchester, and be open to soloists, pairs and teams of four.
The 8.4 mile race lap will take in twisty singletrack, fast gravel sections, tunnels, viaducts, motorway crossings, railway cuttings, cobbles, a bit of tarmac and a “blast through the ornamental gardens of a stately home long since reclaimed by nature.”
Chip timing, showers, toilets, and on-site catering will be available, as will camping on the Friday and Saturday night. All proceeds will go to charity.
