New hard and soft goods from Seven Cycles

Wool jerseys and carbon fibre seatposts

Seven Cycles' new Wool Jersey 3.0 is made from 100 percent Merino wool.

Custom frame builder Seven Cycles is adding some hard and soft goods to its range of titanium, carbon fibre and steel frames for 2009.

The Wool Jersey 3.0, from Woolistic, is made of 100 percent merino wool and features a quarter-length front zip, three rear pockets and a knitted-in Seven Cycles logo. The jersey is only available in red with grey accents, but the broad sizing range covers S-XXL. Retail cost is US$160 (approx £113).

Seven is also offering a heavier Winter Trainer jersey in limited numbers. The 100 percent merino wool top includes a higher-cut collar and elastic waist, plus a full-length front zip. Colours are anthracite/white or white/black, with sizes ranging from XS-XXL. Retail cost is US$225 (£159).

The brand is also introducing a new carbon fibre seatpost that features a structural wrap over a cold-forged 2014 aluminium skeleton. The post will be available in 280mm or 400mm lengths, both with 27.2mm diameters. Claimed weights are 185g and 205g respectively and retail cost is US$179 (£126).
