New Saracen range available to ride at the National Demo Series

Saracen’s all-new range will be available to ride at the National Demo Series, and they’ve done away with their bargain-bin bikes in favour of great riding rigs with impressive finishing kits. Why not see what all the fuss is about and book your ride now?


The legendary Zen has been reworked for 2008 and comes in three guises – Zen 3, 2 and 1 plus the Zen 631 in Reynolds steel. Saracen have maintained the extreme cross-country geometry and added to the rugged mix of Zen in all 3 models. The new Zen 3 is equipped with the new Shimano XT component set with the new XT rapid fire plus shifters, and the new rock dodging Shimano XT ‘shadow’ rear mech. All topped off with Fox 32 Vanilla RL 140mm forks with lockout, Truvativ Blaze chainset and top end finishing kit from Maxxis, FSA-Gap, SDG and Sun.

The Zen’s build and ride quality has won it several accolades including:

For carbon lovers there’ll be the Kiliflyer, which offers fantastic value for the discerning cross-country rider. The super-lightweight ACCM full carbon monocoque frame is decked with full Shimano XT component set, including the new Shimano XT servo-wave hydraulic brake set. The Fox 32 F100 RL race forks and Mavic Cross Ride wheelset tops the spec nicely.

Come and test ride the all new Kili range of competition grade lightweight aluminium cross country specific mountain bikes – the lightweight fully butted RCE XC 6061 aluminium frames are specc’d ready for the challenge. 29” wheels, larger than a traditional mountain bike wheels offer greatly reduced rolling resistance and therefore less effort over rolling terrain.
