PRESS RELEASE FROM TRANSPORT FOR LONDON
Would you like to be an extra in a film shoot to promote the Grand Dpart of the Tour de France in London? Transport for London are filming for a new video to be shown at the world launch of the 2007 Tour de France route in Paris on October 26.
We need fit, slim cyclists to be part of the peloton for the film shoot in central London (location to be confirmed) on Saturday 30 September from 7am to approximately 10am.
You need to be able to pass as a peloton rider (hence the slight emphasis on slim) and you will need to be aged between 18 and 45. You can wear your own (clean) club kit or any pro team strip that you own and you will need to bring bikes with no mudguards or pannier racks (a chance to show off your best bikes). All riders must wear helmets and no tights for the shoot itself, and no yellow, green, white or polka dot jerseys please.
My apologies to those club riders that don’t fit the profile that we need for the shoot, I am sure that you will understand our reasons. Unfortunately, the only remuneration we can offer for your services for the film shoot is the chance to be a part of a film to be shown to the world, but we will of course provide you with your own DVD of the completed film.
It’s a great opportunity to be an actual part of the London Tour de France Grand depart for 2007. Just email Natalie Bobb – firstname.lastname@example.org or call Natalie on 020 7126 3437.
