The first UK Bike Demo Day of 2009 takes place this weekend (25 January), where you can ride mountain bikes from the world’s best bike manufacturers for free.
We are pleased to announce that we’ve just added Pronghorn Racing bikes to the list of fantastic bikes you’ll be able to ride too.
Pronghorn Racing is a Danish based bicycle frame manufacturer specialising in high-performance mountain bikes. The company have developed a patent pending A.P.L.S (Anti Power Loss System) on their full suspension enduro and cross country bikes, which you can put to the test at the great locations we’ve chosen for the demo days (apart from Hampshire and Dalby Forest).
Kenneth Dalsgaard, CEO of Pronghorn Racing said: “At Pronghorn Racing we’re determined to be the best at being the geekiest in the business and to create the fastest and most specialised mountain bikes in the world through patented technologies. But don’t take our word for it, come and check out our bikes at a demo location near you.”
The dates for the events are as follows:
- 25 January, Queen Elizabeth Park, Hampshire
- 8 February, Aston Hill, Buckinghamshire
- 22 February, Cannock Chase, West Midlands
- 8 March, Afan, South Wales
- 22 March, DalbyForest, Yorkshire
- 5 April, Glentress, Scotland
- 19 April, Grizedale, Cumbria
What you need to bring:
A utility bill and photographic identification (these can be provided by a parent or guardian for younger riders). If you have your own helmet and/or pedals and would like to bring them that’s no problem. Otherwise, these will be provided.
There’s a vid on the Demo Days website showing you how to book the bike you want to ride, but if you’ve got any questions just head over to our dedicated Demo Days forum page and we’ll do our best to answer.
