The final leg of the Gorrick series of mountain bike races takes place in Crowthorne, Berkshire, on Sunday (November 2nd).
Racing starts at 9.30am for youngsters and beginners, followed by the over-30s at 10.30am and other competitors at 11.30am.
Cyclists of all abilities are invited to ride on the 4.5 mile circuit which includes fast-flowing singletrack, a ‘corkscrew’ section plus one or two ‘surprises’.
Local rider Shaun Hurrell said: “You can’t beat a Gorrick for providing an amazing course. My favourite bit has to be pumping through the zig-zagged rooty bombhole bit where you can find a new line every lap.”
Online entries are available until midnight tonight, with on-the-day entries available at an extra cost. For details, go to the Gorrick website.
