Former England footballer and BikeRadar Live star Geoff Thomas will ride the Tour of Worcestershire Sportive this weekend for charity.

The 92-mile ride will be based around Worcester and take in many of the Malvern Hills’ famous climbs.

Geoff said: “I’m really looking forward to this ride. The course looks like it will be a good day out and it’s good to know that all entrants are not only challenging themselves but also helping to support the fight against cancer.”

The route includes Malvern climbs like Ankerdine, throwing in Stanford Bank and a trip out to Tenbury Wells with another six climbs before the killer option of Wynniattes Way Abberley, followed by five more climbs before returning to Worcester.

There will be feed and water stations en route with a mixture of High 5 products, fruit and cakes. Optional event timing is available.

A free to enter family ride around the city will take place for children and beginners.
