Royal British Legion charity ride
Two rides catering for all abilities In Northumberland
Two charity rides are taking place on Saturday 19th of May, which both start from Mitford near Morpeth in Northumberland.
The rides are to raise money for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. The first ride is a short ride of 13 miles in the Font Burn area, designed for the occasional rider.
The longer 47 mile ride will go through Coquetdale and Redesdale in the Northumberland National Park.
Refreshments will be available at the famous cyclist’s cafe in Elsdon, for the longer ride.
The Northumbria Army Cadet Force have kindly agreed to marshal the event, and first aid cover and mechanical assistance will be available.
