Team Wiggins sponsor Science in Sport (SiS) has announced a 300,000 energy gel giveaway should Sir Bradley Wiggins beat the World Hour Record on 7 June.

Up to 25,000 people can register at www.powerthehour.com and those who do will receive a code for 12 free SiS Go Isotonic Energy Gels (worth £16.80) when they order nutrition from www.scienceinsport.com before 31 July – if Wiggins beats Alex Dowsett's record of 52.937km.

If we’re to believe in the confidence Sir Bradley has shown in the run up to his record attempt, it looks like it’ll be free gels for all!

Science in Sport marketing director, Ashley Read, said: “The Hour is an important moment in cycling’s history and we want all cycling fans to get behind Brad and support him on this monumental day. We’d like to say thanks for this support and offer free SiS gels to entrants, as used by Team Wiggins.”

If you want to sign up for the offer, be quick, and follow these instructions:

  • Register on www.powerthehour.com - up to 25,000 entrants permitted, one per email address
  • If Sir Bradley Wiggins breaks The Hour record on Sunday 7th June 2015, registrants will receive a code which entitles them to 12x free SiS GO Isotonic Energy gels worth £16.80.
  • Entrants can use the code on any order of any value on www.scienceinsport.com by July 31 2015. Minimum order value for free delivery applies.
