Fancy having a go on the best bikes from Specialized and Giant? Then the Specialized Challenge Series is for you. Complimented by the Sram and Magura partnership at the event, it aims to give riders of all levels the best possible environment to test the bikes and their own performance.
Some of the best trails in the UK have been selected for the demo days. Here are the details:
Each Challenge Series day will have 2 rides to suit riders varied abilities in addition to the demo rides. The Enduro 6 weekend will incorporate a Ladies Day on 28th April to test their performance in what might be a less competitive environment.
Riders can invite along a non riding or novice ability friend to experience mountain biking for the first time with a one lap challenge ride on the Enduro 6 course. Similarly at the Snowdonia Bike Fest a special short ride will be marked for female mountain bikers to bring friends along on the Saturday.
According to Richard Hemington, Managing Director of Specialized in the UK, “The Specialized Challenge Series are a great opportunity for Specialized and its partners to interact with outdoor and cycling enthusiasts and to give experienced and non riders alike a fun day out to remember”.
More information on the Specialized Challenge Series and how to register will be made available early January 2007.
