Entries are now being accepted for the 2008 Downhill National Points Series, the UK’s main downhill competition series.


The series attracts all the big boys of the UK downhill race scene including Team BikeRadar, Santa Cruz Syndicate, Atherton Racing, IronHorse, Lapierre and many more. Entrants are required to have a minimum of 5 British Cycling points, plus a silver or gold licence. You can read more on the licences on the British Cycling website .

Entry to each round costs £60, which includes two days riding, uplifts and timed runs. Any riders under 18 years old must wear full body armour (spine, knee and elbows). Entries are now being accepted, so head to the organiser’s website now.
