The UK National 4X series sponsored by Hayes and Manitou starts this weekend in Chicksands, Bedfordshire. This year’s series is set to be better than ever, with a new group of professional riders entering the fray to duke it out with the established names with all hoping to get their hands on the £10,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.
The first race of the year is always the most popular, and a big crowd is expected in Bedfordshire this weekend. Beds Fat Trax, the club who run the track have extended the track and added a flat corner before the new finish line.

Random start gates are being introduced this year so that the starts are based on riding skill than being quickest out of the gate – the kind of start gates used in world cup races.
Prizes this year include Hayes Brakes, Manitou Forks, Halo wheel sets, ODI grips, Spank goodies and FSO Sunglasses. Hope are providing custom made trophies for the top three finishers.
