A few of the guys from Mountain Biking UK took on the challenge of the Bristol Oktoberfest last month and we have some video footage to see how they got on.
Now in its second year, the event – or the Ritchey Oktoberfest powered by Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport to give it its full name – is a single day’s racing, with teams or solo riders taking on a choice of 4 or 8hr races. Around 1,200 riders – including Bike Riders United’s Steve Peat, Martyn Ashton and Sam Pilgrim – tackled loops of 9.5km of singletrack at the newly-redesigned Ashton Court. Check out their video below or head over to MBUK’s blog for a full report.
