Brooks documentary following Tuscan ride

Leather saddle makers Brooks are filming a series of reports documenting some of the more unusual retro-themed events on the cycling calendar.

This first clip follows L’Eroica, a ride through Tuscany which must be completed on bikes built before 1987, with no carbon fibre, non-down-tube shifters or clipless pedals allowed.

The event begins with a classic bike market and exhibition in the village of Gaiole in Chianti, before more than 2,400 riders head out on the region’s famous white gravel roads on a choice of four routes, ranging from 38km to 204km.
