Once a week or so, something slightly strange happens at BikeRadar.com: we get a humour article from Elden “Fatty” Nelson, who writes such fare as “How to Justify Your Next Bike.” Or an instructional article on how to assess the quality of the cyclist you just passed.
Or something equally strange.
If you’ve followed the links from those stories, then you know that Elden has a blog called “Fat Cyclist,” where he writes stories about bikes and the people who love them pretty much every day. And if you haven’t checked it out, you should. It’s good.
We’re not the only ones who think so, because Elden’s managed to garner a nomination in the Sports category of the 2008 Bloggies contest, one of the more prestigious awards on the Web.
Why don’t you take a few minutes and check out the Fat Cyclist blog. Then, if you feel so inclined, click here to go to the Bloggies voting site to go vote for “Fatty.”
You’d be doing a favor for a cyclist, a contributor to BikeRadar, and a very nice (albeit strange) guy.
