Live and same-day coverage of the six-stage 2009 Tour of the Basque Country (Vuelta Ciclista al País Vasco) will be available on the Universal Sports website from 6-11 April.
Defending champion Alberto Contador, Olympic gold medalist Samuel Sanchez and Tour de France winner Carlos Sastre, along with the world’s best climbers, will compete for the top spot on the podium.

In 2008, Contador won both the first stage and the final individual time trial to win the event prior to winning the Giro d’Italia.
Live coverage begins each day at 10am EST to 11:30am, except stage six, which runs from 10.45am to 12.15pm. Same-day coverage of the Tour of the Basque Country runs from noon to 1.30pm.
