Crank Brothers long-awaited Cobalt cranks are here.
The cranks are 7075 aluminium bonded to the stainless steel front box to produce a light but stiff crank. They're currently only ISIS compatible, although the possibility of an external bottom bracket version has not been ruled out. With the matching Crank Brothers ISIS Ti BB, the full weight comes to a round 800g - just 24g more than new XTR. They cost £225 (excluding BB). We'll put them through the grinder and check back soon.
