A good performer, but there are better and cheaper alloy bars

The whole shape of this bar is very similar to the Cinelli Vai, aside from the fact there’s only a single groove for cable routing under your tape.

The groove is quite deep though, and there’s just enough room to squeeze in a pair of cables without causing too much of a ridge in the bar tape.

Although initially stiffer than the Oval R900, once the loading is increased they continue to deflect, which is the characteristic of a good alloy bar and gives a comfortable ride with enough stiffness for precise control.
