Ritchey WCS Carbon Interval base bar review
These belligerent base bars are super-aggressive in shape and stiffness, but seriously spendy. With their dropped shoulders and dead-straight hand sections the Intervals will get you down much lower than most clip-ons.
The oversized carbon construction won’t flex or waggle either, however hard your wrestle your shoulders against the gear. At 196g they’re also impressively light.
They don’t allow much sideways scope for clip-on adjustment, though, and the hand grips will definitely need to be taped for safety. They’re about £100 more expensive than equivalent bars from Easton and others too.
