Pro-Lite wheels are hand built and spoke tension in our front Merano was perfect. It was a bit variable in the rear wheel, however, especially the left spokes. That might be why there was a barely detectable high spot in that wheel.
The spokes have elbows and deep blades, and with 30mm rims are about as aero as budget wheels will get. Both hubs spun well, the rear on four sets of cartridge bearings, though Pro-Lite are clearly followers of the Chris King school of freewheel noise. Shimano and Campagnolo freehubs are available.
