Assos T.607 bib short review£178.99

Comfortable, high-end fleecy kit

BikeRadar score5/5

These shorts are tailored for riding rather than standing around so it feels like the braces are too short when you’re stood upright. When you’re on the bike, however, they’re fantastic and are broad and flat enough to hug your shoulders without pinching or biting in.

Thicker fleece-backed fabric covers the fronts, insides and rears of your thighs while the outsides are Assos’s RXQ fabric, made from a 3D mesh that traps air next to your body for better insulation.

All labels are on the outside to prevent chafing and the pad makes even the firmest saddle feel comfortable, but this level of comfort certainly costs.
