If you’re a frequent BikeRadar reader, there’s a very good chance you’re a MAMIL or frequently ride with one. Yes, we’re talking about Middle-Aged Men In Lycra. It turns out this cohort of cyclists was intriguing enough to warrant a feature-length film.

This Australian documentary MAMIL follows men from Australia, the US and the UK who have unique reasons for becoming cyclists. The creators describe the film as "an enjoyable and sometimes hilarious romp through the secret world of men and masculinity."

The 90-minute film will be shown at theaters across the US on February 21. Click here for US show times and locations.

Readers in the UK can check out the film on 6 March. Click here for UK show times and locations.

Head on over to our friends at Cycling Plus to read about how a British cyclist got to star in the MAMILs movie.

Josh has been riding and racing mountain bikes since 1998. Being stubborn, endurance racing was a natural fit. Josh bankrolled his two-wheeled addiction by wrenching at various bike shops across the US for 10 years and even tried his hand at frame building. These days Josh spends most of his time riding the trails around his home in Fort Collins, Colorado.
