Dr Eleanor Jaskowska
Eleanor grew up roaming the Welsh hills and has always been a bit of a nerd. Bicycles offered her the perfect opportunity to balance her curious nature with her love of green open landscapes. She got hooked on long-distance riding when she was looking for a serious way to procrastinate from writing her PhD thesis. Eleanor gets bored easily and isn't afraid to give something a go. This has led to a number of obscure and niche achievements, from a fixed-gear Paris-Brest-Paris to mediocre crit results. These days Eleanor can usually be found off-road on her mountain bike or cyclocross bike, enjoying this new bumpy learning curve. Eleanor is a generalist through and through with a penchant for endurance and navigation, which she gets to flex in her day job as community manager for navigation app, Komoot.
