Thule’s EasyFold 932 rack is simple to fit and secures to your car’s towbar using a centrally located handle and locking trigger.
This two-berth carrier has a maximum total weight of 60kg – so not only will it easily cope with a couple of road bikes, it has enough carrying capacity for a couple of weighty electric bikes with their batteries in. Bikes are gripped in place by screw-down frame clamps and rubber ratchet wheel straps.
A foot pedal tilts the carrier back, allowing boot access, although the angle wasn’t enough to allow us to open the tailgate of a VW Transporter. The plastic and metal base doesn’t feel that sturdy but, at 17kg and with folding sides, it’s easy lift into place with one hand.
