BikeRadar were recently informed of Frog Bikes – an all-new range of children's bikes with models catering for kids between 2 and 14 years old. The line-up consists of nine bikes, each one using an aluminium frame and fork for strength and light weight.

The smallest model in the range is the Tadpole, a diddy 4kg balance bike complete with a Tektro V-brake at the rear. The 60 MTB is Frog's dedicated mountain bike; suitable for those aged 8-10 years, it has a 50mm suspension fork, a 7-speed Shimano transmission and Tektro V-brakes. The largest bike in the range is the Frog 73, a versatile choice that's been designed for young teens.

Prices start from £120 and all Frog bikes are available in a choice of five bright colours – including a distinctive 'spotty' design. The Frog Bikes brand will be officially launching at the Bike & Triathlon Show, Manchester, on 16-17 of this month. In the meantime, see www.frogbikes.com.
