RSP Securus + flexible cable lock review£54.99

Great value package

The RSP Securus is a superb lock at a great price. It comes complete with a 140mm cable so you can secure wheels, saddles and so on, which is a bonus. But it’s also one stiff shackle.

It wouldn’t give under our full weight, bolt cropping made no difference and hammering did nothing to the double bolt design.

After five minutes it showed plenty of signs of abuse but still worked perfectly. We cut the shackle in 18 seconds with power tools, but the stress it had already taken is the key.
