This pack is longer than most, and thus seemed to sit low down but comfortably on the back. Thinking this was a fit quirk on our tester, we tried it on a number of folk with different heights and body shapes, but with the same happy result.
The back feels quite stiff laterally, but the raised padded sections designed to create airflow are nicely plush, so the overall effect is of a supple pack that moves with you on the bike.
The detail finishing is also excellent, with long easy-to-grab zip pulls and a main compartment that opens right up.
We particularly like the helmet holder that zips away out of the way when not in use, and the vertically opening small front pocket, which makes for easy access into a useful space.
The two mesh side pockets put the snack stash within reach and just add to the impression of a well thought out bag that’s straightforward and not fussy.
