Quality guards marked down for restrictive fitting options

When we got out hands on these super quality mudguards from Germany we realised how restrictive the fitting was. They require a seatstay bridge at the back and a drilling in the fork crown or brace. Unlike most of their competitors they're far from a universal fit – these days many bikes have neither of those requirements.

We ended up testing the SKS Adventures on our cyclo-cross and old-school hardtails. They worked well once fitted, easy to quick release, only lacking slightly in forward front wheel coverage.
