Quick-release toe clips for your normal-shoes town bike

While toe straps remain useful – like for holding a spare tyre under your saddle – you might think toe clips had been superseded by clipless pedals.

But they still have their uses: for riding on flat pedals in normal-soled shoes, toe clips improve pedalling efficiency and stop your feet slipping off.

Using clips and straps can make getting feet in and out awkward in traffic, which is where these stubby strapless clips come in.

They just hook over your toes: easy in, easy out – though there’s less connection with the pedal. We found the S/M on the small side for UK 8 (euro 42) shoes, so would recommend the L/XL for most.
