A very sound bike but at this price it’s up against some very big names

Forme, the bike brand of UK cycling distributors Moore Large, have produced a very decent package with their Victeur. With a long top tube and stem, and classic shape bar, the setup is spot on for aspiring racers, with one of our Bike of the Year testers reckoning it handled like the racy Cannondale SuperSix.

The Truvativ chainset, Shimano 105 shifters and Tektro brakes form a strong component combo. The wheels are a little more flexible than we’d like, though this does contribute to comfortable seated riding. Overall it’s a good-looking machine, but it’s up against some serious opposition in this price range from the likes of Cube and Rose.
