"Good budget option to keep in your pack for emergency ‘warm ups'"

Altura's leg warmers are a very simple ‘tube of material’ style, relying on the stretch of the brushed Lycra to fit your leg once pulled on. This worked well for a while on the bike, but we found after an hour or so of riding they bunched behind the knees and became slightly uncomfortable.

There's no zip, so you have to pull your shoes off to put them on and off, but on the flipside that keeps the price low, and also reduces the bulk for stashing in your pack if the weather catches you out.
