Our review
Incredibly warm and weather resistant gloves, but they’re a little puffy and insensitive

Finding good gloves for winter is tricky – they either tend to not be warm enough to bother with or they’re too padded to offer good handlebar feel.

But the Tool Plus gloves, made from Gore’s Windstopper material, keep the rain off well, and the fleece lining keeps your fingers toasty. They also have reflective piping and a long cuff with a special hook-and-loop fastening.

The rubberised palm stays grippy even when muddy, and for a glove this warm, the Tool Plus doesn’t hamper your hand movement – although we’d like to see less material on the palm to get more feel and better contact with the bars.
