Endura’s Singletracks were something of a pioneer in the baggy 3/4-length short arena, and are still frontrunners.
The current incarnation is packed with smart thinking. The fabric is robust Cordura with stretchy panels in key locations. In three-quarter shorts, the knee is a key point, and Endura scores with a superbly shaped lower leg that’s roomy enough to wear with lightweight knee pads.
There’s plenty of fit adjustability, with waist tweakers and an integrated belt, plus Velcro leg closures at the bottom. You also get zipped vents on the front of the legs, and both hip and rear pockets.
The Singletracks don't include a liner but they're spectacularly well thought out and most buyers will already have something to wear under them. If you’ve got a pair of Endura shorts with a detachable liner, it'll pop straight in to the Singletracks’ Clickfast system.
We end up wearing all sorts of different undershorts under baggies, even when they come with a liner – you might wear the same shorts for three days on the trot, but you’re not going to do the same with the liner (we hope).
