Durable short, but with a disappointing level of comfort

The Endura Singletrack is regarded as something of a reliable workhorse of a short – rugged and durable enough to cope with the nature of UK riding.

The fabric has a solid handle, there’s plenty of pockets, and although it’s sold without a liner, you can add one from their Clickfast system. But the devil is in the detail as they say, and we found the detail a little lacking.

Our hatred of pocket velcro aside, the shorts pulled across the front of the leg consistently in riding. It was particularly noticeable when climbing out of the saddle and led to unattractive bunching when seated. And when a low-riding back waistband has you worrying about bum cleavage, you’re not concentrating on technique.
