Stiff stem for freeride/downhill riding

Truvativ’s forged 6066 aluminium Holzfeller stem uses 5mm bolts on both the faceplate and the steerer clamp, as well as clearly marked torque settings.

There’s also a central alignment mark on the edge of the cut out of the faceplate, making getting your bar accurately positioned very straightforward. The solid construction leads to a stiff, confidence inspiring ride on the trails.

The Holzfeller is relatively pricy, and not the lightest either, weighing in at 194g. The graphics won’t be to everyone’s taste, either, and can make the Holzfeller look cheaper than it is.
