Altura to sponsor Whinlatter Forest trail

District National Park Authority have given the green light to plans for a new 19km mountain bike trail at

of a £500,000 project to enhance the leisure facilities in what is

A new retail unit and bike hire facilities will be run by
Cyclewise of Penrith, who will also offer mountain bike training courses for
all ages and abilities. The trail will be built by Hugh Clixby who has previously
created trails for the Forestry Commission at Dalby in North Yorkshire and
