Anne Caroline Chausson returns to racing

By BikeRadar

Details are scant at this stage, but it looks like legendary downhiller Anne Caroline Chausson is back on a bike and preparing to take part in the Megavalanche race on the Indian Ocean island of Reunion.

This picture of the Frenchwoman with a Trek Remedy was posted on Marzocchi's website this morning, with a caption informing us that she'll be running a 55 RC3 WC Ti fork and Roco LO shock.

With a CV like hers – she was world champion 16 times, won seven UCI World Cup titles and got an Olympic gold medal in BMX – the other women competitors, and plenty of the men, had better watch out!

  • Anne Caro is already back on a bike. She rode at the Maxi Avalanche in Flims Switzerland at the end of Septmber (on the bike in the above pic). She didn't win her races due to a couple of mechanicals, she was however keeping up with Remi Absalon and Karim A'mour in the free practice sessions
