Every week we're going to be bringing you a highlight from the footage we have on our BikeRadar media player. There's everything on there from trade shows to workshop tutorials, and some idiotic stunts sent in by our readers.

This week's video is taken from the Crashes and Idiots section of the player. A cross-country racer hits the deck in spectacular fashion. Listen for the "oohs" and "aahs" from the onlookers.

I wouldn't like it if that was a video of me posted up for everyone to laugh at. Did you get consent or do you just support the happy slapper/laugh at other people culture?

That was a good stack- he didn't even bat an eyelid. Straight back on- good man.
Surely everyone likes a giggle at a crash if the rider didn't hurt themselves?
When you're at a race, part of you signing the entry form gives consent to people taking photos and videos, whether by spectators or media. So yes, using that video clip is fine.
As long as I didn't batter myself up, I don't think I'd mind seeing the clip being used somewhere. Most mountain bikers would be the same- we're in it for a laugh, not to be too serious...
Having a giggle at a crash is nothing like that idiotic craze of Happy Slapping, so it's not even worth comparing it...
