New World Disorder premiere a sell-out success

Top riders joined mountain bike fans at the Little Theatre in Bath last night for the sold-out UK premiere of the latest New World Disorder film, Dust and Bones.
The screening, organised by Mountain Biking UK's Doddy and his friend Jon Ashleford, was a roaring success, with 250 people making the most of the chance to relax with a beer while watching their favourite freeriders on the big screen.
The film got a thumbs-up from most, with some jaw-dropping moves being pulled on big mountain terrain and some wince-inducing crashes.
But there were a few grumbles about the hard rock soundtrack, a lack of variation in the riding and less innovative cinematography than some of NWD's younger rivals. There'll be a full review in an upcoming MBUK.
As soon as the movie had finished it was down to The Cork for a few pints and the chance to mix with the pros, including downhillers Rob Warner, Dan Stanbridge, Emily Horridge and Katy Curd, freeriders Grant 'Chopper' Fielder and Chris Smith, dirt jumpers Garry Penman and the Wells brothers, cross-country racer Abi Greenaway and UCI course designer Phil Saxena.
A raffle was held to raise funds for future screenings and plenty of people walked away with bags of swag including helmets, tyres and T-shirts.
