Shimano have announced a change to their Ultegra road groupset for 2012 – it just might not be the one you've been waiting for. Rumours have abounded in recent months about a trickle-down of the Japanese company's Di2 electronic shifting technology to their second-tier components.

But those of you holding out will have to be satisfied – for the time being at least – with a simple colour change. The "Glossy Gray" kit will be available later this year and, other than the anthracite-grey colour, is exactly the same as the existing silver version. Visit the Shimano website for more information.
