Tour de France winner set to visit UK

2006 winner set to make whistlestop visit to popular bike shop to promote clothing range

A Spanish Tour de France champion is heading to the UK to promote a range of cycling clothing he helped design.

The 2006 Tour winner Oscar Pereiro is heading to Cycles UK in Orpington, Kent, to promote the cycling bib shorts, jackets and jerseys he helped UK company Dare 2B to design.

Pereiro, who started on a second career as a professional footballer after retiring from top level cycling in 2010, will be at the shop from 1 to 4pm on Saturday 30 November.
