Yeti
Founded by John Parker in 1985, Yeti Cycles is a small Golden, Colorado-based company with a massive cult following. Turquoise is as synonymous with Yeti as celeste is with Bianchi. Many legendary racers spent time aboard Yetis, including John Tomac and Missy Giove.
The late 1990s was a period of turbulence for the company. In 2001 Yeti was headed for collapse until a small group of fans and former employees purchased the company and began rebuilding the brand. Since then the company has gone on to produce a full line of mountain bikes.
