Founded in 2017, Bike Connection Agency organises a series of road, gravel and mountain bike events, where brands are given the opportunity to present upcoming products to a select group of journalists and creators.
What began as a small-scale concept has grown into an increasingly important staging ground for product launches across the cycling industry, with brands using the events to showcase everything from new bikes and components to riding kit and accessories.
BikeRadar attended this year’s road and mountain bike editions in Massa Marittima, Italy, where we got a hands-on look at some of the most exciting products to launch this year – with more still to come.
Here are some of the highlights so far from this year’s shows.
Brembo GR-Pro brakes

Brembo’s much-teased return to the MTB space with the GR-Pro seriously impressed our tester, Tom Marvin, praising the brakes’ power, impressive adjustability and enviable heritage.
Look G85 Cezal

The Look G85 Cezal is a new carbon gravel bike designed with MTB-inspired geometry that the brand says blurs the lines between racing, adventure and technical off-road riding.
Mahle M40

Mahle has updated its flagship eMTB motor with new dynamic assistance modes, Traction Control and refined Auto Hold feature.
Avona Velum SUB6

Avona has launched the Velum SUB6, a new flagship-spec road bike that slips under the 6kg weight barrier – a relatively rare feat for a disc brake bike.
Knog Modemaker

Knog has solved one of our testers’ key frustrations with modern bike lights with the Modemaker – a clever app that enables users to design light modes to their hearts’ content.
