Staff writer

Nick is the staff writer at BikeRadar and has been fascinated by riding and its associated tech his entire life. Nick can be primarily found winching up hillsides in North Wales to savour the excellent downhill tracks or attacking trail-centre loops on his XC bike. He has helped form a riding collective and continues to work with the community to build and preserve trails in his local forest. Despite his love for all things mountain biking, Nick also enjoys road cycling and has completed the holy trinity of watching all three grand tours in their respective finishing destinations. He has also completed many of his own cycling tours, most recently riding from Lisbon in Portugal to Santander in Spain. Nick takes pride in sniffing out the latest tech rumours and has been known to spend hours scrolling through patent applications to spot any new tech on the horizon. His in-depth technical knowledge results from his teenage years working in a bike shop. Nick is also a regular on the BikeRadar Podcast and the face behind the wildly popular Riders Getting Hurt Instagram account.
