Crankbrothers’ Stamp EVO pedals are the latest update to the brand’s long-running flat-pedal platform, bringing a larger footprint and a focus on durability.
The US brand already has a strong foothold in the flat-pedal market, with the Stamp range a common sight out on the trails.
With the EVO, Crankbrothers has sought to refine rather than reinvent a successful formula.
Longer platform

The biggest change is a 20% increase in platform length compared to the previous Stamp 7.
That added surface area is designed to improve stability and reduce foot fatigue, particularly on rough descents, while offering more support when pedalling on technical terrain.
Like previous Stamp pedals, the EVO comes in two sizes, with the aim of better matching different shoe sizes and improving the shoe-to-pedal interface.
The pedal uses a concave platform shape, paired with 13 adjustable pins per side, to help keep your feet planted.
The brand says the body is between 11mm and 15.5mm thick, keeping the profile relatively slim to help reduce pedal strikes.
Material difference

A key update is the new two-material construction.
The main body is forged aluminium, while composite bashguards sit on the outer edges to help deflect impacts and reduce hang-ups on rocks.
These bashguards are replaceable, which should help extend the life of the pedal if you ride technical terrain frequently.
Internally, the Stamp EVO uses IGUS LL-glide bearings and a sealed system designed to keep out water and dirt.
The pedals are also fully rebuildable, with replaceable pins, internals and bashguards, and a grease port is included to make maintenance easier.
A chromoly steel spindle handles the load, and the large version is claimed to weigh 464g per pair.
The Crankbrothers Stamp EVO pedals are priced is set at £199.99.
