Back in March, Scott Cornish and Stu Spies took on the Cape Epic in South Africa, one of the hardest mountain bike stage races in the world.

It’s an eight day stage race that takes in over 650 kilometres and covers tough singletrack, plenty of climbing, and of course tricky descents along the deserted route.

With support from South African bike brand Momsen Bikes, the two-man team set off on their full-suspension Momsen Vipas to tackle this marathon challenge, and in this video they talk us through their experiences and how their chosen steeds handled the tough terrain.
